T h e Boot

Enamus meist, põhjamaa inimestest, kaasaarvatud mina ise, võtab kinni esimesest võimlusest panna jalga sandaalid kui temperatuur on vähemalt +10°C või kui saabub juuni (misiganes peaks enne tulema). Loomulikult kannan ma suvel palju espadrille, sandaale ja muid "tüüpilisi" suvejalatseid, kuid üks paar blokk-kontsaga seemisnahast poolsaapaid on alati minu suvises baasvarustuses. Kahjuks on minu pruunid Missguided’i saapad juba välja müüdud, kuid ma olen teile välja otsinud neli erinevas toonis saabast, mida ma hea meelega kannaksin. Mida te arvate? Kannaksite te suvel saapaid?

Though most of us Nordic people go sandal-crazy when the temperature hits +10°C or June arrives (whichever comes first), including myself, one of my go-to summer shoes is a boot instead. I wear lots of espadrilles, sandals (heeled and flat) and other ‘typical’ summer shoes, but a pair of suede ankle boots with a stacked heel is a must in my summer (but not only) wardrobe. And here’s why. Firstly, we all know how our worm summer days often progress into not-so-warm nights. A nice pair of ankle boots keeps your toes nice and warm. Secondly, you can wear them with so many different outfits, from jeans (long or short) to romantic dresses. Thirdly, they are super comfy and your feet won’t get sore even if you have to walk or stand for a long time and they are also comfy of grass (which also makes them a festival favourite). Lastly, they are really stylish all year round :) I personally like to have two pairs: one black and the other beige or brown. My Missguided boots are sold out, but I have chosen four pairs in different tones that I would gladly wear and hope that you like them as well :) What about you? Would you wear boots during the summer?
